Child Safety Standards
Toxic Confessions is an 18+ anonymous confession platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and toward any content or conduct that endangers minors. This page sets out the standards we uphold to keep children safe and to comply with applicable child-safety laws in the regions where Toxic Confessions is available.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
The following are strictly prohibited on Toxic Confessions and result in immediate removal, a permanent ban, and reporting to the appropriate authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, audio, text, drawings, or AI/computer-generated depictions.
- Sexualization of minors, including grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, sextortion, or sharing of a minor's sexual content.
- Trafficking, endangerment, or any other exploitation of a child.
- Promoting, facilitating, or directing users to CSAE material on or off the platform.
2. Adults-only service
Toxic Confessions is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Users must confirm they are 18+ before they can use the app, and the app carries an 18+ (Mature) age rating. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
3. Reporting and enforcement
- In-app reporting: Every post and reply has a Report action with categorized reasons. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
- Action within 24 hours: Content that violates these standards is removed and the responsible account is banned. Confirmed CSAE is preserved as legally required and reported.
- Escalation to authorities: We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant local authorities, and cooperate with law-enforcement requests.
- Blocking: Users can block other users from any post or reply.
4. Compliance with child-safety laws
We comply with applicable child-safety and CSAE-prevention laws in the jurisdictions where the app is distributed, including obligations to detect, remove, preserve, and report child sexual abuse material. Our standards are reviewed regularly and updated as those obligations evolve.
